Strawberry Field is a drop off point for BBC 'Kit out the Nation' campaign

14th September, 2021

Strawberry Field is delighted to be supporting BBC Radio Merseyside’s Kit out the Nation campaign.

'Kit Out the Nation’ is a month long Make a Difference campaign (Saturday 4th September – 2nd October) aimed at taking in and distributing unwanted, good condition sports kit and getting it to children and teenagers who need it.

Kit can be clothing or footballs, rugby balls, shin pads or cones to run around.

Items can be dropped off at Strawberry Field, Beaconsfield Road, Liverpool, Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm until 16th October.

“The plan to open Strawberry Field to the public for the first time - so people can see a unique exhibition about the home, how and why the song was written by John, and allow visitors to explore the grounds as John did as a child - is very exciting.”
