Prayers for peace

To mark John Lennon's 80th birthday, we are inviting people from across the world to join us to ‘Imagine Peace’ together.

We have created a short video, highlighting ‘Prayers for Peace’ written by people from different countries across the world. So far 40 prayers have been submitted and will be displayed through the gardens at Strawberry Field. To recognise what would have been John’s 80th year, we hope to collate 80 prayers from around the world and are now inviting you to send in your own Prayer for Peace to be added to the collection.

As we come together on this day and Imagine Peace, we believe that prayers will be answered. You do not need to be of a particular faith to join us in this, just come with a desire for peace.

Use the form below to send us your 'Prayer for Peace'

“The plan to open Strawberry Field to the public for the first time - so people can see a unique exhibition about the home, how and why the song was written by John, and allow visitors to explore the grounds as John did as a child - is very exciting.”
