Guests learned about the legacy of the Sgt Pepper record sleeve as Bryan Biggs, Artistic Director of the Bluecoat gave an illustrated talk about the many parodies of the Pepper design from record covers to Christmas cards.

The event was held as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Sgt Pepper album with guests enjoying the unique surroundings of the world’s only Beatles inspired hotel.

“The plans to open Strawberry Field to the public for the first time - so people can see a unique exhibition about the home, how and why the song was written by John, and allow visitors to explore the grounds as John did as a child - is very exciting.”
